【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 중구청(구청장 류규하)이 디지털정부 혁신 유공 표창을 수상했다고 19일 밝혔다.
중구는 행정안전부가 주관한 2024년 공공데이터 제공·운영 실태 평가에서 ‘우수’ 등급을 받았다.
이번 표창은 공공데이터 개방·활용, 데이터 기반 행정 분석 등 5개 분야 20개 지표를 종합 평가한 결과로, 전국에서 23개 기관만이 선정됐다. 대구에서는 중구청이 유일하게 수상 기관으로 이름을 올렸다.
중구는 데이터 개방과 행정 혁신 기반 구축 성과를 인정받았다. 앞으로는 AI 기반 행정 수요에 대응하기 위해 데이터 개방 범위를 확대하고, 데이터 기반 정책 추진에 속도를 낼 방침이다.
류규하 중구청장은 “이번 수상은 공공데이터의 개방성과 품질 향상을 위한 꾸준한 노력의 결실”이라며 “AI 기술과 연계한 창의적인 행정 서비스를 통해 주민 삶의 질을 높이겠다”고 말했다.

Daegu Jung-gu Office (Mayor Ryu Gyu-ha) announced on the 19th that it had received a commendation for its contribution to digital government innovation.
Jung-gu received an "Excellent" rating in the 2024 Public Data Provision and Operation Status Evaluation conducted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
