구금고인 신한은행의 재정지원으로 추진되는 이번 일자리 협력사업은 경인여자대학교 산학협력단 및 고용과 미래 사회적협동조합이 구로부터 각각 일자리 사업을 1개씩(총 2개, 사업비 1억원) 추천받아, 오는 2026년 3월까지 수행하는 방식으로 이뤄진다.
경인여자대학교 산학협력단은 반려동물 산업 전문인력을 양성하는 ‘펫케어 아카데미’를 운영하며, 고용과 미래 사회적협동조합은 인공지능(AI)을 활용한 채용 확산에 발맞춰 디지털 채용 연계 및 청년 취업역량을 강화하는 ‘청년 AI 입사지원 마스터’를 진행하게 된다.
