충청광역연합의회 초광역행정산업위원회(위원장 김선광)는 제1차 회의를 개최하고 2025년도 상반기 주요업무 추진상황을 청취 했다.
20일 충청광역연합의회에 따르면 이번 회의에서는 ▲홍보팀 신설 ▲'충청광역연합협의회'정기회의 개최 ▲초광역 관광 서비스 체계 구축 등 주요 현안들에 대해 논의했다.
신영호 의원(서천2, 국민의힘)은 홍보 체계 강화의 필요성을 강조하며 "충청광역연합 홍보가 선제 되어야 충청광역연합이 나아갈 방향에 대해 충청도민들이 이해할 수 있다"며 "내년도 예산 편성 시 홍보팀 신설 방안을 검토해 달라"고 요청했다.
유인호 의원(세종 보람동, 더불어민주당)은 10월 예정된「충청광역연합협의회」정기회의와 관련하여 "구체적인 안건들이 준비되어야 한다"며 "재정 지원 방안, 인력 투입 계획 등 세부적인 사항들을 논의할 수 있는 실효성 있는 회의가 되어야 한다"고 당부했다.
구형서 의원(천안4, 더불어민주당)은 충청미래경제포럼에 대해 "단순한 포럼으로 끝나지 않고 우리 충청권 4개 시·도의 실질적인 교류가 이루어질 수 있도록 내실 있는 사업을 추진해 달라"고 주문했다.
김현미 의원(세종 소담동, 더불어민주당)은 초광역 관광서비스 체계 구축과 관련하여 "진행중인 광역관광상품 개발 용역 결과를 현재 추진 중인 사업들에도 반영해 달라"고 주문했다. 또한 "초광역 선도지구와 함께 할 수 있는 충청권 관광 전략 방안을 연구용역에 포함시켜 달라"고 요청했다.
안경자 의원(대전, 국민의힘)은 충청광역연합의 역할에 대해 "4개 시·도가 공통으로 필요한 핵심 사업을 집중하는 것이 필요하다"며, "40여 명의 적은 인원으로 많은 사업을 추진하기보다는 선택과 집중을 통해 실질적 성과를 내야 한다"고 제언했다.
