대통령실이 21일 "이재명 대통령 부부가 한·일-한·미 정상회담을 위해 오는 23일 출국해 28일 귀국 예정"이라고 전했다.
이날 강유정 대변인에 따르면 이 대통령은 먼저 오는 23일 오전 일본에 도착해 재일동포 오찬 간담회로 일정을 시작 후 오후에 이시바 시게루 일본 총리와 한·일 정상회담 및 만찬을 갖는다.
이어 오는 24일 오전 일본 의회 주요 인사와 만난 후 이날 오후 미국으로 향한다.
이 대통령은 이날 오후(현지시간) 미 워싱턴 DC에 도착해 재미동포 만찬 간담회를 시작으로 방미 일정을 시작한다.
또 오는 25일 도널드 트럼프 미국 대통령과 한·미 정상회담을 가진 후 경제계·학계 인사들도 만날 예정이다.
