【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구시교육청은 2026년도 주민참여예산 편성을 앞두고 본격적인 사전 심의에 들어갔다고 21일 밝혔다.
올해 주민참여예산 공모에는 시민·학생·학부모·교직원 등 3,137명이 참여해 총 177건의 제안이 접수됐다.
주요 제안은 학부모 강의 지원, 예술교육 활성화, 해외 학교 탐방 지원, 진로교육 확대, 노후 화장실 현대화, 학생 안전교육 강화 등이다.
교육청은 오는 9월 열릴 제2차 주민참여예산위원회에서 본예산에 반영할 사업을 확정한 뒤, 대구시의회 심의를 거쳐 2026년 예산안에 최종 반영할 계획이다.
이에 앞서 21일과 22일 이틀간 여민실에서 ‘2025년 주민참여예산 분과위원회’를 세 차례 열고, 주민 제안 사업을 분야별로 심의한다.
심의는 인성함양, 학습역량, 복지·안전·행정 등 세 분야로 나뉘어 진행된다. 21일 오전에는 인성함양 분야, 22일 오전에는 학습역량 분야, 같은 날 오후에는 복지·안전·행정 분야 안건을 심의할 예정이다.
강은희 교육감은 “지역사회와 교육 현장의 의견을 예산에 반영해 함께 만드는 대구교육을 실현하겠다”고 말했다.
