[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 부산시가 추석을 앞두고 시민 먹거리 안전을 강화하기 위해 9월 1일부터 10월 2일까지 5주간 ‘추석 성수식품 제조·가공업소 특별 기획 수사’를 진행한다.
이번 점검은 명절 기간 수요가 급증하는 한과, 떡, 한우 등 성수식품을 대상으로 하며, 식품 제조·가공업소와 축산물 관련 업소를 중심으로 현장 위주의 점검이 이뤄질 예정이다.
주요 점검 내용은 ▲원산지 허위 또는 혼동 표시 ▲식품 취급 기준 및 규격 위반 ▲허위·과장 표시(함량 등) ▲무표시 원료 사용 ▲소비기한이 지난 제품 사용 및 판매 등이다.
시는 이번 수사에서 보건환경연구원 등 전문기관과 협력해 식품 성분 분석과 원산지 판별 등 과학적인 방식도 함께 활용할 계획이다.
적발된 위반 사항은 관련 법령에 따라 형사입건, 또는 관할기관에 통보하는 등 법적 절차에 따라 조치된다. ▲원산지 거짓 표시는 최대 7년 이하 징역 또는 1억 원 이하 벌금 ▲식품 취급 기준 위반은 5년 이하 징역 또는 5천만 원 이하 벌금 ▲허위 표시의 경우에도 최대 5년 이하 징역 또는 5천만 원 이하 벌금이 부과될 수 있다.
부산시는 시민 제보도 받고 있으며, 의심되는 불법행위는 식품수사팀(051-888-3091, 3096)으로 신고할 수 있다.
