[브레이크뉴스 양주=김완영 기자] 경기도 양주시가 오는 9월 19일부터 21일까지 사흘간 양주관아지·양주향교·양주별산대놀이마당 일원에서 ‘2025 양주국가유산 야행’을 연다.
양주국가유산 야행은 지역의 대표 문화유산을 배경으로 전통과 현대가 어우러진 야간 축제로 자리 잡아왔다. 해가 지면 시작되는 프로그램 속에서 관람객들은 역사가 깃든 공간을 걸으며 양주의 밤을 새롭게 체험할 수 있다.
올해 행사는 조선시대 양주목 관아를 무대로 한 미스터리 추리형 스탬프 투어가 눈길을 끈다. 참가자들은 ‘조선 최고의 명탐정’이 되어 사라진 ‘왕명의 비밀 관인’을 찾아 나서는 미션을 수행한다.
역사적 사건과 인물을 단서로 공간을 탐험하는 체험형 콘텐츠가 마련돼 단순한 관람을 넘어 직접 몰입하는 즐거움을 선사할 예정이다.
둘째 날인 20일 저녁 7시에는 공식 퍼포먼스가 펼쳐진다. ‘관민동락’을 주제로 한 멀티미디어 쇼로 음악과 춤이 어우러져 양주목 관아의 고즈넉한 풍경을 화려하게 수놓는다.
마지막 날인 21일 오후 5시 30분에는 무형유산 통합공연이 무대를 채운다. 양주별산대놀이, 양주소놀이굿, 양주상여와회다지소리, 양주들노래 등 국가·도 지정 무형유산이 한자리에 모여 길놀이와 전통연희의 진수를 선보인다.
이외에도 축제 기간 동안 관아지 일원은 경관조명과 체험, 공연, 먹거리로 가을밤의 정취를 만끽할 수 있는 공간으로 꾸며진다.
홍미영 문화관광과장은 “역사와 문화가 살아 숨 쉬는 양주관아지에서 스토리와 체험, 공연이 어우러진 가을밤을 즐기며 잊지 못할 추억을 남기길 바란다”고 말했다.
