[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 사천시가 ‘우주항공복합도시 도시개발사업 주민공청회’를 갖고 대한민국 우주항공 산업 중심지 도약을 위한 본격 행보에 나섰다.
지난 17일 열린 공청회는 각 분야 전문가와 지역 주민 등 300여 명이 참석한 가운데 진행됐으며, 사업 추진의 투명성과 신뢰성을 확보하는 동시에 지역사회의 높은 관심과 기대를 확인하는 계기가 됐다.
이날 공청회에서는 사업 추진 배경과 비전, 개발 방향, 구역 지정 계획, 주요 도입 기능 등에 대한 설명이 진행됐다.

공청회에서는 도시계획 및 교통 분야 전문가들은 사업의 필요성과 발전 가능성에 공감하면서도 교통 인프라 확충, 정주 여건 개선, 환경과의 조화, 지역 상생 방안 등에 대한 다양한 의견을 제시했다.
