이재명 대통령이 29일 "노란봉투법의 진정한 목적은 노사 상호 존중·협력 촉진으로 노동계도 상생 정신을 발휘해야 한다"고 밝혔다.
이 대통령은 이날 오전 용산 대통령실에서 열린 제39회 임시국무회의 모두 발언에서 "노란봉투법 통과 관련해 말이 꽤 여러 가지 있는 것 같다"며 "노동계 오랜 오랜 숙원 노란봉투법이 국회를 통과했다"며 이같이 전했다.
그러면서 "책임 있는 경제 주체로서 국민 경제 발전에 힘 모아주시길 노동계에 각별히 당부드린다"며 "대한민국은 이제 모든 분야에서 국제적 기준·수준을 맞춰가야 하고, 현장서 제도가 안착할 수 있도록 후속 조치를 빈틈없이 준비해 주시기 바란다"고 주문했다.
또 “외교·국익에 관해 다른 목소리가 없었음 좋겠다”며 “여야 지도부를 초청해 순방 성과를 설명 드리고 협력 방안을 논의하는 자리를 조속히 마련하겠다”고 했다.
이어 “국민 여러분 성원 덕분에 미국·일본 순방을 잘 마무리하고 돌아왔다”며 “아낌없는 조언이 큰 힘이 됐고, 기업인·언론인 여러분에게도 감사하다”고 했다.
더불어 안건으로 상정된 내년도 예산안 관련해선 "우리 경제는 신기술 주도 산업경제 혁신·취약한 수출 의존형 경제 등 두 과제를 안고 있다”며 “오늘 국무회의에서 의결될 내년도 예산안은 두 가지 과제를 동시 해결하고 회복·성장을 이끌어 내기 위한 마중물”이라고 했다.
