Chairman Kwon Ki-sik was recognized for his efforts to promote public exchanges between Korea and China in areas such as local government, economy, youth, and culture since establishing the Korea-China City Friendship Association, a non-profit organization under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2016.
