부산문화회관은 'UN 창설 80주년 기념음악회'를 10월 23일 오후 8시, 부산문화회관 대극장에서 개최한다고 밝혔다.
이번 공연은 UN의 날(10월 24일)을 기념해 마련된 공식 문화행사로, 국제 연대와 평화의 메시지를 음악으로 전달하는 데 초점을 두고 있다. 특히 한국전쟁 당시 UN군의 희생을 기억하고, 세계 유일의 재한유엔기념공원이 위치한 도시 부산의 역사적 상징성이 이번 무대의 의미를 더한다.
◈ 부산시립교향악단·윤한결 지휘… 세계적 예술가와 함께 평화의 무대
공연은 부산시립교향악단의 연주와 지휘자 윤한결의 지휘로 진행된다. 윤한결은 2023년 잘츠부르크 페스티벌에서 한국인 최초로 '카라얀 젊은 지휘자상'을 수상한 차세대 지휘자로, 현재 국제 무대에서 활발히 활동하고 있다.
무대에는 세계적인 소프라노 조수미가 함께한다. 조수미는 2025년 5월 프랑스 문화예술공로훈장 최고등급인 ‘코망되르(Commandeur)’를 수훈하며 음악을 통한 평화와 인류애의 메시지를 높이 평가받았다. 이번 공연 역시 그녀의 예술적 방향성과 맞닿아 있다.
또한,'2022년 반 클리번 국제 피아노 콩쿠르 입상자 드미트로 초니(Dmytro Choni)'가 피아니스트로 무대에 오른다. 세계적인 아티스트들과 부산을 대표하는 교향악단의 협연은, 국제도시 부산의 문화적 위상을 보여주는 무대가 될 것으로 기대된다.

The concert venue, located in Busan’s UN Peace and Culture Special Zone, directly faces the memorial park, lending profound symbolic significance to this commemorative event.

World-Class Artists Join Forces in Busan
The performance will feature the Busan Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Hankyul Yoon, a rising conductor who became the first Korean recipient of the Karajan Young Conductors Award at the Salzburg Festival in 2023.
The stage will be graced by world-renowned soprano Sumi Jo, who was recently honored with the Commander of the Order of Arts and Letters by the French government for her global contributions to peace through music.
Also joining the program is Ukrainian pianist Dmytro Choni, a prizewinner at the 2022 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, adding to the international flavor of the event.
