브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 대우건설은 회사의 지속가능경영에 함께 공감하고 실천할 수 있는 ‘으쓱(ESG)투게더 기부챌린지’를 내달 31일까지 실시한다고 15일 밝혔다.
대우건설은 일상 속에서 쉽게 실천하고 참여하는 기부문화 정착을 위해 꾸준히 고민을 해오고 있으며, 그 일환으로 지난 4월 국내외 임직원 모두가 참여하는 함께으쓱(ESG) 걷기챌린지를 성황리에 마무리했다. 이에 힘입어 대우건설은 2차로 내달 31일까지 으쓱(ESG)투게더 기부챌린지를 진행한다.
으쓱(ESG)투게더 기부챌린지는 대우건설 임직원 뿐만 아니라 대우에스티, 푸르웰 등의 자회사와 7개의 최우수 협력회사 임직원도 함께 참여한다. 뿐만 아니라, 과천 푸르지오 벨라르테 입주민도 참가해 대우건설의 고객, 협력회사, 임직원이 하나의 ‘대우 가족’으로서 참여하게 된다.

대우건설 관계자는 “지난 함께으쓱(ESG) 기부챌린지가 임직원의 적극적인 참여와 단합으로 성황리에 마무리된 데 이어, 참가 대상과 목표 걸음 수를 확대해 으쓱(ESG) 투게더 기부챌린지를 진행하게 됐다”며 “이번 행사에는 대우건설 임직원을 비롯해 자회사, 협력사, 입주민이 함께 참여해 ‘하나의 대우 가족’으로서 단합된 모습을 보여줄 것이다”고 말했다.
한편, 대우건설은 지난 2월 환경·사회·지배구조 분야에서 ESG 경영의 괄목할 성과창출 및 지속경영이 가능한 기업으로 한 단계 더 발돋움하기 위해 으쓱(ESG)워킹그룹 발대식을 진행하고, 임직원이 직접 참여하는 ‘헌혈 캠페인’을 통해 사회적 약자 및 소외계층을 위한 지원을 지속함으로써 기업의 사회적 책임을 실천하고 있다.
