도널드 트럼프 미국 대통령과 시진핑 중국 국가주석이 오는 10월 31일 한국 경주에서 열리는 APEC(아시아태평양경제협력체) 정상회의에서 만난다.

또 "내가 내년 초 중국을 방문하고 시 주석도 마찬가지로 적절한 시기 미국으로 오는 것에 합의했다"며 "무역·펜타닐·우크라이나-러시아 전쟁 종식 필요성·틱톡 매각 승인을 포함한 많은 이슈에 대해 진전을 이뤘다"고 전했다.
미 'WSJ(월스트리트저널)'은 틱톡 매각 관련해 "오라클 등 미 투자자들로 구성된 컨소시엄이 80%가량 지분을 보유하는 법인을 설립해 사업권을 인수하는 방안이 유력하다"고 보도했다.
