신한라이프(대표이사 사장 이영종)는 지난 22일 대한적십자사 용산봉사나눔터에서 임직원 40여 명이 참여한 가운데 ‘사랑의 빵 나눔’ 봉사활동을 진행했다고 24일 밝혔다.
임직원들은 전문 강사의 지도를 받아 반죽과 발효, 굽기, 포장까지 직접 참여해 곡물빵과 당근 파운드케이크 등 약 800개의 빵을 완성했다. 완성된 빵은 대한적십자사를 통해 결식 우려 가정 80세대에 전달됐다.
신한라이프는 이번 활동을 포함해 배식봉사, 취약계층 지원, 공공시설 환경 개선 등 다양한 사회공헌활동을 이어가고 있다. 회사 관계자는 “작은 정성이 이웃들에게 따뜻한 힘이 되길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 지역사회와의 상생과 나눔을 실천해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
Shinhan Life Shares with Local Community through 'Bread of Love Sharing'
Shinhan Life (CEO Lee Young-jong) announced on the 24th that it conducted a 'Bread of Love Sharing' volunteer activity on the 22nd at the Yongsan Volunteer Sharing Center of the Korean Red Cross, with the participation of about 40 employees.
The employees, guided by a professional instructor, directly participated in making approximately 800 loaves of bread, including grain bread and carrot pound cake, handling everything from dough mixing and fermentation to baking and packaging. The finished baked goods were delivered to 80 families at risk of hunger through the Korean Red Cross.
Shinhan Life continues to carry out various social contribution activities, including this baking event, such as meal distribution, support for vulnerable groups, and environmental improvements for public facilities.
A company official stated, "We hope this small gesture brings warm encouragement to our neighbors. We will continue to practice coexistence and sharing with the local community in the future."
