영진전문대학교 국방군사계열은 지난 25일 부산 작전기지와 인근 해상에서 열린 '2025 대한민국해군 관함식'에 재학생들이 참여했다고 26일 밝혔다.
올해 관함식은 국민과 함께하는 해양축제로 열렸다. 부대 개방 행사에서는 VR 사격·항해 체험, 군악대·의장대 공연, 무인체계 및 장비 전시 등 다양한 프로그램이 진행됐다.
이어진 해상사열에서는 해상작전과 화력 시범, 함정 및 항공기 사열이 펼쳐져 참가자들의 큰 호응을 얻었다.
국방군사계열은 실무 중심 교육과 체계적인 진로 지도를 통해 최근 5년간 610여 명의 졸업생을 육군·해군·공군·해병대 부사관으로 임관시켰다. 이 가운데 85명이 해군과 해병대 부사관으로 진출하는 성과를 거뒀다.
이번 행사에는 국방군사계열 졸업생이자 현재 해군에서 복무 중인 도보람 상사가 후배들을 직접 맞아 선후배 간 우의를 다지는 시간도 마련됐다.
도보람 상사는 "후배들이 걷고 있는 길은 곧 국가 안보를 책임지는 길"이라며 "자신감을 가지고 준비한다면 반드시 원하는 목표를 이룰 것"이라고 격려했다.
김기병 국방군사계열부장은 "학생들이 직접 해군 관함식에 참여해 해군의 전력을 체험한 것은 진로 선택에 큰 도움이 될 것"이라며 "앞으로도 해군·해병대 부사관으로 당당히 임관할 인재를 지속적으로 양성하겠다"고 말했다.
