[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 340년 역사의 삽량, 현대 문화축제로 재탄생한 ‘2025 양산삽량문화축전’ 개막식이 26일 양산천 둔치 특설무대에서 개막했다.
이날 행사에는 박완수 도지사를 비롯 나동연 양산시장, 윤영석·김태호 국회의원, 도·시의원, 기관단체장과 시민 등 2만여 명이 함께했다.
이날 개막식은 양산대종 타종식과 퍼레이드를 시작으로 시립합창단 공연, 시민대상 시상, 환영사와 축사, 축하공연과 불꽃쇼가 이어지며 시민과 관광객들의 큰 호응을 얻었다.
올해 축제는 ‘30년을 넘어, 도약하는 미래 양산’을 주제로 28일까지 양산천 둔치와 양산종합운동장 일원에서 열린다.
전통과 현대가 어우러진 공연·전시·체험 프로그램도 다채롭게 마련돼 시민과 관광객에게 잊지 못할 가을 추억을 선사할 예정이다.
특히 가야진용신제, 삼장수 씨름대회, 삽량 고래섬으로 이어지는 국계다리 설치 등은 지역 고유의 전통을 현대적으로 재해석한 대표 프로그램으로, ‘도민 모두가 함께 즐기는 경남 대표 문화축제’로 자리매김하고 있다.
박 지사는 축사에서 “양산은 신라시대 340여 년간 삽량주로 불리며 문화와 교통의 중심지로 번성했던 역사적 도시”라며, “이번 축제는 그 찬란한 유산을 오늘에 되살려 미래로 이어가는 소중한 문화 자산이 될 것”이라고 강조했다.
