역사와 문화, 그리고 전통의 숨결이 살아 있는 서산 해미읍성이 가을 관광객을 맞이한다. 서산시는 오는 10월 11일 오후 2시부터 해미읍성 일원에서 ‘2025 서산해미읍성 충청병마절도사 부임 행렬 퍼레이드’를 개최한다고 밝혔다.
이번 행사는 해미읍성보존회가 주관하고 뜬쇠예술단이 운영을 맡아, 조선시대 충청병마절도사로 부임했던 이순신 장군의 이야기를 역사 퍼레이드와 공연으로 생생하게 재현한다. 장군이 해미읍성에서 약 10개월간 근무했던 역사적 사실을 기반으로, 그 시절의 위엄 있는 행렬과 군사 문화가 현대적으로 되살아난다.

진남문 앞에서는 이순신 군관 마중단이 병마절도사 행렬을 맞이하는 ‘영접 퍼포먼스’가 펼쳐지고, 이어 기접놀이·취타대 공연·풍물단 연희 등 다채로운 전통공연이 잇따라 관람객을 즐겁게 할 예정이다.
또한 해미읍성 내부에서는 어린이 풍물단의 축하 연희와 주민 참여 무대가 오후 4시까지 진행되어, 가족 단위 방문객이 함께 어울릴 수 있는 축제 분위기를 더한다.
