도널드 트럼프 미국 대통령이 14일(현지시간) 현재 미국·중국 간 대두 갈등 속에 "중국산 식용유 및 여타 교역 품목 관련된 중국과의 사업 관계 단절을 검토 중"이라고 밝혔다.
미 'CNBC'에 따르면 트럼프 대통령은 이날 자신의 트루스소셜에 “중국이 의도적으로 우리 대두를 구매하지 않고 대두 농가에 어려움을 주는 행위는 경제 적대 행위라 생각한다”며 이같이 밝혔다.
그러면서 "일례로 우리는 식용유를 쉽게 자체 생산할 수 있으므로 중국으로부터 구매할 필요 없다”고 덧붙였다.
