브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 15일 5선 국회의원을 지낸 이상민 국민의힘 대전시당위원장(67세)이 별세했다.
대전소방본부 등에 따르면 이날 오전 9시33분경 대전 유성구에 아파트에서 한쪽에 마비 증세가 있는 환자가 있다는 신고가 접수됐다.
신고를 접수한 소방 당국은 즉시 현장으로 출동했으나 도착 당시 이 위원장은 심정지 상태였던 것으로 알려졌다.
이 위원장은 응급처치를 받으며 인근 병원으로 이송됐지만 결국 사망 판정을 받았다.

Former lawmaker Lee Sang-min dies, found in cardiac arrest at home
Lee Sang-min, chairman of the Daejeon City Chapter of the People Power Party and a five-term lawmaker, passed away on the 15th.
According to the Daejeon Fire Department and other sources, around 9:33 a.m., a report was received of a patient with paralysis on one side of his body in an apartment in Yuseong District, Daejeon.
Fire authorities immediately responded to the scene, but upon arrival, Lee was found in cardiac arrest.
