부평구에 따르면, 이날 선정된 사업은 ‘걷다보니 부평’ 워킹투어, 장애아동 수영교실, 자립준비청년 자격증 취득을 위한 수강료 지원, 부평구 장난감 수리점 운영, 재해대책 양수기 및 수방자재 구입, 인천나비공원 체험 프로그램 및 문화행사 추진 등 6건이다.
이 사업들은 고향사랑기부금법에 따라 취약계층 지원, 자연재해 대비, 주민 안전 확보 등 다양한 분야에서 주민복리 증진을 목표로 추진된다.
부평구 관계자는 “기금사업이 부평구에 새로운 희망을 불어넣는 계기가 되기를 바란다”며 “앞으로도 기부자와 구민 모두가 공감하고 지역 발전에 기여할 수 있는 사업을 발굴하기 위해 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
한편, 고향사랑기부제는 개인이 본인의 주소지 외 지방자치단체에 기부하면 세액공제 혜택(10만원까지 전액, 초과분 16.5%)과 함께 기부금의 30%에 해당하는 답례품을 제공받을 수 있는 제도이다.
