【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=제44회 설성문화제가 17일 음성종합운동장 일원에서 개최된 가운데 전통혼례와 고추장 떡볶이 나눔행사를 진행해 축제의 열띤 분위기를 이어가고 있다.
성균관 청년유도회 음성군지부는 앞서 지난달 전 국민을 대상으로 1쌍의 커플, 부부, 예비부부 등 모집을 실시해 1쌍의 부부를 선정, 이날 축제장에서 전통 혼례를 진행했다.
예비 신랑은 말을, 예비 신부는 가마를 타고 입장하는 등 전통 결혼식의 모습을 깊이 있게 만나볼 수 있었으며, 하객 대상 경품 추첨도 진행돼 관광객의 시선을 끌었다.
또 음성군 향토음식연구회 주관으로 음성종합운동장 일원에서 ‘음성의 매운맛’을 알리기 위한 ‘고추장 떡볶이 나눔 행사’가 열려 음성청결고춧가루로 만든 떡볶이를 함께 나누며 방문객들에게 먹는 즐거움을 선사했다. 행사는 다음 날에도 이어진다.
설성문화제 주관 단체인 음성문화원 소속의 다채로운 동아리 공연도 펼쳐졌다. △향풀(터 벌림 춤) △아랑고고장구 △장고개 아리랑 △색소폰 동우회 △풍물패 시나브로 △음성사랑 노래교실 △경기민요 △대금 △신바람 실버 합창단의 공연으로 그 열기가 무르익었다.

또한 올해 처음으로 전통민속놀이 경연대회에서 공연으로만 관람했던 민속놀이를 축제장 한편에서 체험해 볼 수 있도록 부스를 운영했다.
음성 대표 민속놀이인 거북놀이, 집터다지기, 장치기 체험 도구가 마련돼 방문객 등이 시연에 참여하고, 전 세계 흥행 돌풍을 일으킨 ‘케이팝 데몬 헌터스’ 작품 속 전통 복식 ‘갓’도 착용해 볼 수 있도록 했다.
박물관 건립 홍보와 음성군 역사 문화를 주제로 강연하는 ‘음성박물관 대학’도 음성생활문화센터에서 진행됐다.
군 관계자는 “음성 지역의 고유한 전통과 문화를 지속 발전시킬 수 있도록 군민 여러분의 많은 관심과 참여를 부탁드린다”고 말했다.
한편 제44회 설성문화제는 18일 행사로 △전국 염계달 중고제 판소리 경연대회(한빛복지관) 및 한마당(주무대) △읍·면 전통민속놀이 경연대회 △B.B.S 청소년 어울마당 △설성 글로벌 페스티벌 등이 진행될 예정이다.
아울러 연계 행사로 ‘음성군 쎄일페스타’는 19일까지, ‘2025 음성예술제는’ 23일까지 이어지며, 19일에는 ‘제42회 음성군민 체육대회’가 열린다.
