【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=증평군 장뜰두레농요보존회(회장 이송곤)가 제29회 충청북도 민속예술축제에서 최우수상을 수상하며, 증평의 대표 민속예술로서 위상을 다시 한번 입증했다.
이번 수상은 장뜰두레농요가 지닌 예술성과 지역 공동체 정신이 높은 평가를 받은 결과로, 지난해 전국민속예술축제 장관상 수상에 이어 거둔 값진 성과다.
충주시 한국예술문화단체 총연합회가 주최한 이번 축제는 지역 고유의 민속예술을 계승·발전시키기 위해 매년 열리는 전통 있는 행사로, 지난 16일 충주시에서 열렸다.
올해는 도내 11개 시군이 참여해 각 지역의 특색 있는 민속예술 공연을 선보이며 열띤 경연을 벌였다.
장뜰두레농요보존회는 ‘장뜰두레농요’를 주제로 한 공연을 선보여, 과거 증평 지역 농경문화의 전통과 공동체 정신을 생생하게 재현해 심사위원과 관객들의 큰 호평을 받았다.
특히 모심기, 김매기, 탈곡 등 농사 과정에 따라 전해 내려오는 소리와 동작을 사실감 있게 표현해 높은 점수를 얻었다.
이송곤 회장은 “이번 수상은 증평의 전통문화를 함께 지켜온 군민 모두의 성과”라며 “앞으로도 우리 고장의 민속예술을 널리 알리고 후대에 전승하는 데 최선을 다하겠다”고 소감을 밝혔다.
한편 ‘장뜰두레농요’는 증평군 향토 무형문화재 제12호로 지정돼 지역 농민들의 삶과 공동체 문화를 전승하는 데 중요한 역할을 하고 있다.

Hosted by the Chungju Federation of Korean Arts and Culture Organizations, this annual festival, a tradition dedicated to preserving and developing local folk arts, took place in Chungju on the 16th.
This year, 11 cities and counties across the province participated, showcasing their unique folk arts in a fiercely contested competition.
The Jangtteuldure Farming Song Preservation Society presented a performance themed "Jangtteuldure Farming Song," vividly recreating the traditions and community spirit of the farming culture of the Jeungpyeong region in the past, receiving rave reviews from judges and audiences.
In particular, the performance earned high marks for its realistic portrayal of the sounds and movements associated with farming processes such as planting, weeding, and threshing.
