(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 법무부가 22일, 농번기 농촌 일손 부족 문제 해결과 농작업 전문화 등 농업 현장에 맞는 인력 운영을 위한 ‘농작업 위탁형 계절근로 시범사업’을 도입하고, 2025년 시범사업 대상으로 2개소를 선정했다고 밝혔다.

이번에 선정된 지자체는 포천시(경기)와 의령군(경남)으로 그동안 공공형 계절근로제를 운영하지 않았으나, 이번 사업을 통해 단기간 일손이 필요한 농가에 인력을 지원할 수 있게 됐다.
운영 방식은 농업법인 등이 농작업 위탁계약에 따라 직접 농작업을 수행하는 형태로 위탁형 사업자는 근로자의 농작업을 직접 관리하여야 하며, 단순 인력중개 및 농가 파견은 할 수 없다.
