서울 종로의 역사적 공간 탑골공원이 지난 25일 가을 국악의 선율로 가득 찼다.
(사)국악로문화보존회는 지난 25일 오후 2시 30분 종로 탑골공원에서 개최된 '2025 국악로축제'가 시민과 외국인의 뜨거운 호응 속에 성황리에 막을 내렸다고 밝혔다.
종로구의 후원으로 진행된 이번 행사에는 200여 명의 관람객이 참여해 한국 전통음악의 멋과 흥을 만끽했다.

축제의 포문은 국가무형문화재 판소리 '수궁가' 준보유자이자 국악로문화보존회 이사장인 명창 정옥향의 열창으로 화려하게 열렸다.
정 명창은 깊은 성음과 섬세한 감정 표현으로 탑골공원을 가득 메우며 관객들로부터 우레와 같은 박수를 받았다.

이어 정옥향 명창의 제자들이 무대에 올라 국악의 흥을 이어갔다.
성민호의 전통가요를 시작으로 이경화의 진도북춤, 이정현의 경기민요, 봉미영·유병주의 남도민요가 관객들의 귀를 사로잡았다.
홍지무(임정숙 외 3명), 열두장고팀(조경희 아카데미), 사물놀이팀의 연주가 이어지며 전통 타악의 역동성을 선보였고, 김도연의 고고장구 '어우동 춤'과 청소년 태권도 시범까지 다채로운 프로그램이 펼쳐지며 전통예술의 다양한 매력을 전했다.
행사는 원로 KBS 방송인 방일수의 유려한 진행으로 한층 생동감 넘치는 분위기를 자아냈다.

시민들은 박수와 환호로 화답하며 전통예술의 생동감과 공동체적 정서를 함께 나눴다.
국악로문화보존회 관계자는 "올해 국악로축제는 세대와 국경을 넘어 전통예술의 가치를 나눈 자리였다"며 "앞으로도 종로를 국악의 중심이자 전통문화의 심장으로 발전시켜 나가겠다"고 밝혔다.
