브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 이재명 대통령과 도널드 트럼프 미국 대통령이 29일 오후 경북 경주 국립경주박물관에서 한미 정상회담을 갖는다. 이번 회담은 지난 8월 워싱턴에서 열린 정상회담 이후 두 달여 만의 재회다.
대통령실에 따르면 이 대통령은 이날 국빈 자격으로 방한한 트럼프 대통령을 박물관 입구에서 직접 맞이하며 공식 환영식을 시작한다. 양국 정상은 방명록 서명과 기념 촬영을 한 뒤, 경주의 문화유산을 함께 둘러보며 친교 시간을 가질 예정이다.
정부는 트럼프 대통령에게 경주의 금관을 본뜬 특별 제작 모형을 선물할 계획이다. 황금빛 장식품을 선호하는 트럼프 대통령의 취향을 고려한 선택으로 알려졌다.
