한국원자력환경공단, ‘APEC 히어로 응원 캠페인’ 전개

【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=한국원자력환경공단(이사장 조성돈)은 2025 경주 APEC 정상회의의 성공 개최를 위해 묵묵히 헌신하고 있는 소방관과 자원봉사자들을 격려하기 위해 21일부터 27일까지 ‘KORAD와 함께하는 APEC 히어로 응원 캠페인’을 진행하고 있다.

공단은 행사 기간 동안 경북소방본부와 경주소방서 소속 소방대원, 자원봉사자 등 1,000여 명에게 지역 소상공인들이 제공하는 닭꼬치, 핫도그, 과일, 커피 등을 나누며 감사의 마음을 전하고 있다.

또한 경북소방본부와는 APEC 정상회의의 원활한 운영을 지원하기 위한 업무협약을 체결했으며, 공단 내 다목적 체육관과 회의장을 행사 기간 중 소방 인력의 대기 공간으로 제공하고 있다.

이와 함께 공단은 경주시 충효동 무열왕릉과 인근 숙박업소 3곳을 전담 구역으로 지정해 환경 정화 활동도 펼치며 도시 미관 개선에 힘쓰고 있다.

조성돈 한국원자력환경공단 이사장은 “공단은 APEC 정상회의 기간 비상대응체계를 구축하고, 보유한 자원과 역량을 총동원해 성공적인 회의 개최를 적극 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Korea Radioactive Waste Agency Launches 'APEC Hero Support Campaign'
