[브레이크뉴스=박찬호 기자] 한국남동발전(사장 강기윤)이 경력단절 여성 구직자들의 마음을 보듬고 실질적인 취업 기회를 제공하는 차별화된 방식의 취업 박람회를 지원해 눈길을 끌고 있다.
남동발전은 지난 29일, 진주철도문화공원 내 카페 '메텔'이라는 이색적인 공간에서 진주여성새로일하기센터와 함께 여성취업박람회 「까페 마음 쉬고, 일 잡고」 행사를 개최했다고 30일 밝혔다.
이번 행사는 구직자들의 심리적 안정과 재도전 의지를 북돋는 데 초점을 맞췄다. 특히 남동발전은 참여 기업의 참가비 지원 외에도, 구직자들의 진로 고민과 심리 상태를 타로 카드 해석으로 풀어주는 '취업타로' 상담 프로그램을 지원하며 큰 호응을 얻었다.
진주여성새로일하기센터가 모집한 15개 구인기업과 취업 희망 여성 200여 명은 이날 현장 면접, 구인·구직 상담, 이력서 접수 등을 통해 적극적으로 취업 의지를 다졌다. 여성 기업 제품 홍보 프리마켓과 예비 여성 창업자가 운영하는 공방 체험 등 부대 행사가 마련되어, 여성 구직자들에게 취업뿐만 아니라 창업이라는 또 다른 재도약의 기회까지 제공했다.
강기윤 사장은 “이번 박람회가 지역사회 취업을 희망하는 여성들이 마음을 가다듬을 수 있는 여유를 갖고 자신감을 회복하여 새로운 커리어를 설계할 수 있는 공간이 되기를 바란다”며, “앞으로도 지역사회 여성 인재들의 경제활동 참여 확대를 위해 여성 고용지원 활동을 꾸준히 이어 가겠다“고 밝혔다.
