대구시교육청, ‘내 손의 책, 내 삶의 힘’ 공모전 시상

【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구시교육청이 ‘내 손의 책, 내 삶의 힘’ 독서실천 3운동을 기념하는 ‘독서실천 3운동 공모전’ 수상작을 선정하고, 2025년 ‘대구 학생 책축제’에서 시상했다고 3일 밝혔다. 

이번 공모전은 생활 속 독서 실천을 일상으로 정착시키기 위한 취지로 마련됐다.

공모전은 지난 7월 7일부터 9월 30일까지 시민, 학생, 학부모, 교직원을 대상으로 진행됐다. ▲독서 실천 사례(수품책 활동, 학교 단위 실천), ▲초단편 UCC, ▲로고송, ▲나눔 엽서 등 5개 분야에서 참여를 받았다.

접수 결과, 독서 실천 사례 90건, 초단편 UCC 110편, 로고송 20편, 나눔 엽서 1,927편 등 총 2,147건이 접수돼 높은 관심을 보였다. 

심사 결과 독서 실천 사례 분야는 최우수상 4건, 우수상 8건, 장려상 12건이 선정됐다. 초단편 UCC·로고송 분야는 각각 최우수상 1건, 우수상 2건, 장려상 3건이, 나눔 엽서 분야에선 100편의 우수작이 뽑혔다.

수상자들에게는 문화상품권과 모바일 상품권 등 부상이 전달됐다. 대구월성초 이인희 수석교사는 초단편 UCC 부문에서 최우수상을 받아 “책을 통해 아이들의 삶이 한 뼘 더 성장하길 바라는 마음으로 활동해왔는데, 이렇게 좋은 결과로 이어져 기쁘다”며 “앞으로도 아이들이 책을 친구처럼 느끼도록 힘쓰겠다”고 소감을 밝혔다.

이번 공모전 수상작들은 영상, 카드뉴스, 우수 자료 등으로 제작돼 대구독서인문교육 및 독서실천 3운동 활성화에 적극 활용될 예정이다.

강은희 교육감은 “이번 공모전은 학교 구성원 모두가 독서의 가치를 직접 실천했다는 데 의미가 크다”며 “앞으로도 책 읽기를 통해 모두가 함께 성장하는 대구교육을 만들어가겠다”고 말했다.

The Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education announced on the 3rd that it has selected the winners of the "Reading Practice 3 Movement Contest," commemorating the "Books in My Hands, Power in My Life" reading practice movement, and will present the awards at the 2025 "Daegu Student Book Festival."

This contest aims to foster reading as a daily practice.

The contest ran from July 7th to September 30th, open to citizens, students, parents, and faculty. Entries were accepted in five categories: ▲Reading Practice Cases (Book Collection Activities, School-Level Practices), ▲Ultra-Short UCCs, ▲Logo Songs, and ▲Sharing Postcards.

The contest received a total of 2,147 submissions, including 90 reading practice cases, 110 ultra-short UCCs, 20 logo songs, and 1,927 sharing postcards, demonstrating strong interest.

The judging process resulted in four grand prizes, eight excellence awards, and 12 encouragement awards in the reading practice category. One grand prize, two excellence awards, and three encouragement awards were awarded in the short UCC and logo song categories, respectively. In the sharing postcard category, 100 excellent works were selected.

The winners received prizes such as cultural gift certificates and mobile gift certificates. Lee In-hee, a senior teacher at Daegu Wolseong Elementary School, received the grand prize in the short UCC category. She said, "I've been working with the hope that books will help children grow in their lives, and I'm delighted that this has led to such positive results. I will continue to strive to help children feel like friends."

The winning entries from this contest will be produced into videos, card news, and other excellent materials, which will be actively utilized to promote Daegu Reading Humanities Education and the Three Reading Practice Movements.

Superintendent Kang Eun-hee said, “This contest is very meaningful in that all members of the school community directly practiced the value of reading,” and added, “We will continue to create a Daegu education system where everyone grows together through reading books.”
