대통령실이 5일 "이재명 대통령이 8일 열리는 로드리고 파스 볼리비아 신임 대통령 취임식에 한준호 더불어민주당 최고위원을 경축 특사로 파견한다"고 전했다.
이날 오전 강유정 대변인 서면 브리핑에 따르면 한 특사는 취임식에 참석해 파스 대통령에게 각별한 축하 뜻을 전하면서 볼리비아와의 양국 간 상호 우호적 협력 관계 강화 메시지가 담긴 대통령 친서를 전할 예정이다.
또 볼리비아 새 정부 주요 인사들과의 면담을 통해 정부 국정 철학·대외 정책을 설명하면서 한-볼리비아 수교 60주년을 맞아 상호 관계 발전 방안을 논의한다.
