브레이크뉴스 노보림 기자= 사단법인 한국축제문화진흥협회 김종원 이사장이자 축제 총감독이 지난 11월 8일 경주 경북관광기업지원센터 7층에서 열린 ‘APEC 연계 축제 행사 인사이트 투어’ 오프닝 특강을 진행했다.
이번 특강은 ‘2025 경북형 K-관광 종합아카데미 – 축제 행사 기획 과정’의 연장선으로, 2025 APEC KOREA 개최지인 경주의 문화적 위상과 세계적 관광도시로서의 가능성을 높이는 계기가 됐다는 평가를 받았다.
김종원 총감독은 이날 강연에서 APEC과 같은 대형 국제행사의 성공 요인을 바탕으로 지역 축제에 적용 가능한 실질적 전략을 제시했다.
그는 “글로벌 행사의 성공은 철저한 현장 안전관리와 미세 단위의 브랜드 기획에서 출발한다”며, APEC 운영 경험에서 얻은 핵심을 ‘초밀도 안전’, ‘마이크로 브랜딩’, ‘지역 정체성의 세계적 번역’으로 압축해 설명했다.
또한 김 총감독은 “APEC처럼 규모가 큰 행사의 성공 공식은 로컬에도 그대로 통한다”며, “작은 지역 축제라도 관객 동선, 체험 스토리텔링, 감정의 리듬을 과학적으로 설계해야 한다”고 강조했다.

Kim Jong-won, Chairman and Director of the Korea Festival Culture Promotion Association, delivered the opening lecture for the "APEC-Linked Festival Event Insight Tour," held on the 7th floor of the Gyeongbuk Tourism Enterprise Support Center in Gyeongju on November 8th.
