브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 이재명 대통령이 다음달부터 용산 집무실을 떠나 청와대로 복귀한다. 2022년 5월 윤석열 정부 출범과 함께 시작된 ‘용산 시대’는 3년 7개월 만에 막을 내리게 됐다.
대통령실은 11일 “아직 구체적인 일정이 모두 확정된 것은 아니지만, 다음 달 중순 대통령 집무실을 비롯해 참모진 사무실 등 주요 시설을 청와대로 옮길 계획”이라고 밝혔다.
청와대 이전 업무를 담당하는 관리비서관실은 12일 대통령실 직원들을 대상으로 설명회를 열 예정이다. 대통령실은 보안 점검 등으로 일정이 일부 조정될 가능성은 있지만, 내부적으로는 크리스마스 전까지 이전을 완료하는 것을 목표로 하고 있는 것으로 전해졌다.

한편 대통령실의 청와대 복귀는 이재명 대통령의 주요 공약이다. 이 대통령은 당선 직후 “대통령실은 용산을 사용하되, 청와대를 신속히 보수해 가능한 한 빨리 복귀하겠다”고 밝힌 바 있다. 이에 따라 청와대는 지난 8월부로 민간 개방을 종료했다.
