브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 검찰이 대장동 개발비리 사건에 대해 항소를 하지 않기로 한 결정에 대해 부정적 평가가 긍정적 평가보다 크게 앞선 것으로 나타났다.
14일 한국갤럽은 11일부터 13일까지 전국에 거주하는 만 18세 이상 성인 1003명을 대상으로 검찰의 대장동 사건 미항소 결정에 대한 평가를 조사한 결과, 응답자 48%가 검찰의 미항소 결정이 적절하지 않다고 응답했다고 밝혔다.
반면, 항소 포기가 적절하다는 응답은 29%였으며 의견을 유보한 응답자는 23%로 집계됐다.
이같은 답변은 정치 성향에 따라 평가가 확연히 갈린 것으로 나타났다. 진보 성향 응답자 중 49%는 검찰의 판단을 적절한 결정이라고 답했으며, 34%는 부적절하다고 답했다.
보수 성향 응답자 중에서는 67%가 부적절하다고 답해 비판적 입장이 뚜렷하게 나타났고, 19%만이 적절하다고 응답했다. 중도 성향 응답자에서는 48%가 부적절하다고 답했으며, 29%는 적절하다고 답했다.
정당 지지 여부에 따라서도 의견이 명확하게 갈렸다. 더불어민주당 지지자의 52%는 검찰의 미항소 결정이 적절하다고 답한 반면, 국민의힘 지지자의 78%는 부적절하다고 답했다. 무당층의 경우 48%가 부적절하다고 답했고, 13%는 적절하다고 답해 부정적 답변이 우세했다.
