기후에너지환경부 주관으로 열리는 한국에너지대상은 에너지 절약, 효율 향상, 신재생에너지 보급 등 국가 에너지 정책 목표 달성에 기여한 기관, 기업, 개인에게 수여되는 최고 권위의 상이다.

김해시도시개발공사는 이번 수상에서 지속가능한 도시 기반 구축을 위한 종합적인 에너지 관리 성과를 인정받았는데, ▲친환경 에너지 생산 ▲저에너지형 시스템 혁신 ▲신재생에너지 확대▲물 자원 재활용 강화를 통해 물 부족 국가로서의 현실을 인식하고, 하수 방류수를 농업용수로 재이용하는 사업을 확대해 물 자원 순환에 기여했다.
