장항2동 주민자치회, ‘사랑 담은 김장김치 나눔 행사’로 이웃사랑 실천

고양특례시 일산동구 장항2동 주민자치회는 지난 15일 장항2동 행정복지센터에서 ‘사랑 담은 김장김치 등 나눔 행사’를 열고 취약계층 80가구에 김장김치와 선물꾸러미를 전달했다.

‘사랑 담은 김장김치 등 나눔 행사’는 장항2동 주민자치회의 대표적인 연말 나눔 행사로, 독거 어르신과 저소득층, 한부모 가정 등 어려운 이웃의 따뜻한 겨울나기를 지원하기 위해 매년 이어지고 있다.

이번 행사는 한국마사회 일산지사의 후원으로 진행됐으며, 주민자치회 위원들이 김장 준비부터 포장, 배달까지 전 과정에 직접 참여했다. 

또한 지역 국회의원실과 시의원들도 함께 자리해 김치 버무리기와 선물꾸러미 포장에 동참하며 이웃과 따뜻한 정을 나눴다.

설석환 장항2동 주민자치회장은 “올해도 많은 분들의 참여와 정성으로 나눔 행사를 성공적으로 마칠 수 있었다”며 “작지만 진심 어린 마음이 어려운 이웃들에게 힘이 되길 바란다며 앞으로도 나눔이 살아 있는 따뜻한 마을을 만들기 위해 지속적으로 노력하겠다”고 전했다.
