【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 중구가 19일 남산종합사회복지관 앞 까치아파트 주차장에서 ‘2025 사랑의 김장 나눔 행사’를 개최했다.
이번 행사는 지역 주민들이 함께 모여 겨울철을 앞두고 독거노인, 경로당, 저소득 가정 등 1,000가구에 전달할 김장 김치를 담그는 자리로 마련됐다.
현장에는 남산3·4동과 동인동 지역사회보장협의체, 통우회, 자유총연맹, 서문시장봉사단, 중구자원봉사대학총동창회 등 25개 단체에서 250여 명의 봉사자가 참여해 정성껏 김치를 담갔다.
참가자들은 서로를 격려하며 김치를 담그고, 지역 어르신과 어려운 이웃들에게 전달될 김치에 따뜻한 마음을 더했다.
류규하 중구청장은 “바쁜 일정에도 김장 나눔 행사에 함께해 주신 모든 분들께 감사드린다”며 “올겨울 혹한이 예상되는 만큼, 주민들의 따뜻한 마음이 어려운 이웃들에게 큰 힘과 위로가 되길 바란다”고 말했다.
