김해시장애인체육회가 주최·주관하고 11개 종목단체가 함께한 이번 대회는 장애인과 비장애인이 함께 어울리는 화합의 축제로 펼쳐지며 지역 사회에 뜨거운 감동을 선사했다.
대회는 18일 사전 경기로 진행된 탁구 종목을 시작으로, 19일 본 대회에서는 슐런, 육상, 보치아, 게이트볼, 실내조정, 휠체어럭비, 플라잉디스크, 콘홀, 제기차기 등 10여 개 종목에서 선수들의 땀과 노력이 빛났다. 특히 휠체어럭비와 보치아 같은 전문 종목은 물론, 플라잉디스크와 콘홀 같은 뉴스포츠 종목까지 포함되어 참가자들의 다양한 신체 능력과 재활 의지를 확인할 수 있었다.
