【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구시교육청이 오는 19일부터 21일까지 울산전시컨벤션센터에서 개최되는 ‘2025 대한민국 지방시대 엑스포’에 참가해 대구만의 공교육 혁신 정책을 알린다.
‘K-BALANCE 2025’를 주제로 열리는 이번 엑스포는 지역 주도 성장을 통한 지속 가능한 균형 발전 방안을 모색하는 자리다.
전국 각 시도교육청은 지역 특색을 살린 교육 혁신 사례를 공유하고, 정부의 주요 국정과제와 연계한 다양한 정책도 함께 선보일 계획이다.
대구시교육청은 ‘가족·학교·지역이 함께 성장하는 대구교육’을 주제로, 지속가능한 가족공동체 형성교육, IB 교육과정 특구 운영, 군위거점학교 육성 사업, 지자체와의 연계 협력 우수사례 등 대구만의 현실에 맞춘 다양한 교육정책을 전시·체험 부스를 통해 소개한다.
관람객이 직접 참여할 수 있는 주요 정책 퀴즈, 우리가족 소원적기, 가족 포토존, 행운의 공 추첨 이벤트 등도 마련해 정책을 보다 친근하게 접할 수 있도록 준비했다.
강은희 대구시교육감은 “이번 엑스포가 대구의 교육혁신 정책을 전국에 알릴 좋은 기회”라며, “앞으로도 가족과 학교, 지역이 함께 정주 여건을 만들어 아이와 함께 살고 싶은 대구를 만들어가겠다”고 말했다.

The Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education will participate in the "2025 Korea Local Era Expo," held at the Ulsan Exhibition and Convention Center from August 19th to 21st, to showcase Daegu's unique public education innovation policies.

Each provincial and metropolitan office of education across the country will share examples of educational innovation that reflect regional characteristics and showcase various policies aligned with key government initiatives.
Under the theme of "Daegu Education: Where Families, Schools, and Communities Grow Together," the Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education will showcase a variety of educational policies tailored to Daegu's unique needs through exhibition and hands-on booths. These include sustainable family community education, the operation of a special IB curriculum zone, the Gunwi Key School Development Project, and best practices in collaboration with local governments.
Visitors can also participate in key policy quizzes, write down their family's wishes, participate in a family photo zone, and participate in a lucky ball raffle to make policies more accessible.
Daegu Metropolitan Superintendent of Education Kang Eun-hee said, "This expo is a great opportunity to promote Daegu's educational innovation policies nationwide." She added, "We will continue to create a Daegu where families, schools, and the local community work together to create a welcoming environment where children want to live."
