고양특례시 덕양구 대덕동 새마을부녀회가 지난 18일부터 19일까지 이틀간, 대덕동복지회관 주차장에서 ‘대덕동 김장 담그는 날’ 행사를 열고 지역사회에 따뜻한 온정을 전했다.

이번 행사는 새마을부녀회의 대표적인 겨울 나눔 사업으로, 부녀회원과 직능단체 회원들이 함께 참여해 의미를 더했다.
행사 첫날에는 김장 속재료 손질이 진행되었으며, 둘째 날에는 양념을 버무려 정성 가득한 김장김치를 완성했다.
이틀 동안 담근 김치 320포기는 대덕동의 독거어르신과 저소득층 80가구에 전달되었으며 차가운 날씨 속에서도 봉사자들의 웃음이 끊이지 않았던 현장은 훈훈한 정과 이웃사랑으로 가득했다.
조현미 새마을부녀회장은 “모두가 한마음으로 준비한 김장김치가 어려운 이웃들의 식탁에 따뜻한 한 끼로 전해지길 바란다”며 “작은 나눔이지만 함께하는 정이 더해져 모두가 훈훈한 겨울을 보냈으면 좋겠다”고 말했다.
