세종특별자치시가 유휴 주차장을 렌터카 차고지로 활용해 지역 세수 확충에 기여한 사례를 올해 하반기 적극행정 최우수 사례로 선정했다.
세종시는 24일 하반기 적극행정 우수사례를 발표하며, 최우수 1건, 우수 3건, 장려 4건 등 총 8건을 선정하고 관련 공무원 22명을 우수공무원으로 선발했다고 밝혔다. 사례 평가는 예선 심사를 거쳐 적극행정위원회의 심의를 통해 최종 확정됐다.
최우수 사례로 선정된 세정과의 ‘대형 장기렌터카 사업장 유치’는 활용도가 낮던 공영주차장을 렌터카 차고지로 전환해 지방세 확보 기반을 마련한 점에서 높은 평가를 받았다. 시는 이를 통해 올해 말까지 약 30억 원의 취득세와 연간 9,000만 원 규모의 자동차세 증가 효과를 기대하고 있다.
우수사례에는 하자를 기회로 삼은 도도리파크 품질 향상 및 예산 절감 ,보건복지부 보조금 지원 기준 개정 주도 ,공공청사 계약전력 조정을 통한 예산 절감 등 3건이 선정됐다.
세종시는 적극행정 추진 성과를 인정받은 우수공무원들에게 근무평가 가점 등 인사상 혜택을 부여해 정책 활성화를 유도할 방침이다.
