전북자치도 임실군 덕치면 주민 복지와 자치 공간으로 활용될 '복지회관'이 준공됐다.
25일 임실군은 기초생활거점 조성의 핵심 사업인 '덕치면 복지회관 증축 공사' 준공식이 지난 24일 야외마당에서 성황리에 열렸다고 밝혔다.
이날 준공식에는 이진관 부군수와 임실군의회 장종민 의장 및 지역 주요 기관ㆍ단체장을 비롯해 주민 등 250여 명이 참석한 가운데 새로운 복지회관의 탄생을 축하했다.
지역공동체 중심의 여가와 문화ㆍ복지 등 복합 공간으로 재탄생한 '덕치면 복지회관'은 2022년부터 2025년까지 4년간 총사업비 40억(국비 27억 포함) 원이 투입돼 조성됐다.
기존 복지회관(419.3㎡)을 리모델링하는 등 신규 복지회관(덕치 어울림관 = 292.94㎡)을 새롭게 증축해 보다 쾌적하게 이용할 수 있는 복합 공간으로 탈바꿈했다.
주민 편의를 위한 야외마당(621.8㎡)과 주차장(642.3㎡)도 조성해 접근성과 활용도 역시 높였다.
