【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=영진사이버대학교가 K-뷰티 및 웰니스 산업의 경쟁력 강화를 위해 전문 교육기관과 손을 맞잡았다.
영진사이버대학교는 지난 26일 본교에서 글로벌 대한 뷰티기술 교육협회와 산학협약을 체결했다. 이번 협약을 통해 양 기관은 K-뷰티 산업 발전을 위한 교육과정 개발, 전문 인재 양성, 정보 교류 확대 등 다양한 분야에서 협력하기로 했다.
협약에 따라 양측은 전문 인력 양성을 위한 프로그램 공동 운영, 현장 중심의 교육 강화, 글로벌 뷰티 강사 양성, 해외 취·창업 지원, 대학과 산업체 간 네트워크 확대 등 여러 협력 사업을 추진한다는 계획이다.
글로벌 대한 뷰티기술 교육협회는 국내 미용 기술의 표준화와 교육 신뢰도 강화를 목표로 설립된 기관이다. 협회는 속눈썹펌, 브로우, 피부, 네일, 두피 등 세분화된 분야별 전문가들과 함께 글로벌 K-뷰티 기술 인증 체계를 구축해 해외 시장 진출도 모색하고 있다.
신진영 협회장은 "이번 협약을 통해 실무에 강한 글로벌 역량을 갖춘 인재들이 현장에서 경쟁력을 높일 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다"고 밝혔다.
김정시 영진사이버대 뷰티케어계열 부장도 "이번 협력이 학생들이 이론뿐 아니라 실제 산업 현장에서 요구되는 글로벌 실무 능력을 갖추는 데 큰 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다"고 말했다.

The association, working with specialists in specialized fields such as eyelash perms, brows, skin, nails, and scalp care, is establishing a global K-beauty technology certification system and exploring overseas market expansion.
Shin Jin-young, president of the association, stated, "Through this agreement, we will actively support talented individuals with strong practical global capabilities to enhance their competitiveness in the field."
Kim Jeong-si, head of the Beauty Care Department at Yeungjin Cyber University, added, "We expect this collaboration to be of great help to students, not only in theory but also in acquiring the global practical skills required in real-world industries."
