충남 당진시가 송산면 한 양돈농가에서 발생한 아프리카돼지열병(ASF) 사태 이후 지역 내 확산을 원천 차단하기 위해 전방위 방역망을 가동하고 있다.
당진시는 발병 직후부터 방역대 내 전 농가를 대상으로 정밀검사와 집중 소독을 실시한 결과, 현재까지 모든 시료가 음성으로 판정돼 확산 위험은 다소 진정된 상태다.
당진시는 11월 24일 ASF 확진이 확인된 직후부터 대응 태세에 돌입해 확진 농가와 관련된 3개 농장의 돼지 1,810두를 긴급 살처분했다. 살처분에 이어 액비저장조 200톤과 FRP 저장조 2기도 매몰 처리하며, 발생 농가 인근에 방역 본부와 통제초소를 긴급 설치했다.
