전북특별자치도의 웰니스 산업을 알리고 자연 기반 국제협력 확대를 위한 국제포럼이 지난 27일부터 2일간의 일정으로 성황리에 열렸다.
이번 행사에는 슬로베니아ㆍ가나ㆍ앙골라ㆍ파키스탄ㆍ에스토니아 등 주한 대사를 포함 외교사절단 17개국 33명과 3개 국제기구(TCS) 관계자 및 양봉ㆍ농업ㆍ관광을 비롯 각계 전문가 등이 참석했다.
개막 첫날인 27일에는 전북의 치유관광 산업을 직접 체험하는 프로그램이 마련됐다.
외교사절단은 포럼의 기조 주제인 '자연과의 공생 및 치유'와 연계, 전북도립미술관ㆍ완주 대한민국 술 테마박물관ㆍ안덕 건강힐링마을 등을 찾아 막걸리 만들기와 김장담그기 등 한국의 전통문화를 접했고 황토찜질 및 전북형 치유ㆍ웰니스 관광을 경험했다.
