고양특례시 일산동구는 지난 30일 고양어울림누리 체육관에서 ‘2025년 일산동구청장기 탁구대회’를 개최했다.

이번 대회는 고양시 탁구협회가 주최·주관하고 고양시 일산동구청이 후원했으며 대회에는 고양시 탁구협회 유·청소년, 실버 동호인 등 400여 명이 참여하여 화합의 장을 만들었다.
경기는 연령대별(20~50대) 개인 단식 예선 및 토너먼트 형식으로 진행되었다.
고양시 탁구협회 이 구 회장은 “이번 대회가 탁구 동호인들의 화합과 우정을 다지는 뜻깊은 대회가 되기를 바라며, 생활체육 활성화는 물론 시민들의 건강 증진, 탁구 대중화에 기여할 수 있길 바란다”고 말했다.
박노선 일산동구청장은 “고양시는 매년 경기도지사기 대회, 전국대회 등에서 좋은 성적을 거두고 있을 정도로 생활체육이 활성화된 도시”라며 “앞으로도 시민들의 안전하고 건전한 여가생활을 지원하고 생활체육의 활성화를 위해 더욱 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.
