이재명 대통령이 3일 지난 2024년 12·3 비상계엄 1년을 맞아 특별 성명을 통해 “12·3은 국민의 높은 주권 의식·대한민국 민주주의의 놀라운 회복력을 세계 만방에 알린 계기가 됐다"고 주장했다.
이 대통령은 이날 오전 용산 대통령실에서 12·3 1년 특별 성명을 통해 "민주주의 등불을 밝혀주신 위대한 대한국민과 함께 빛의 혁명을 반드시 완수하겠다"며 이같이 밝혔다.
그러면서 "누구도 국민 주권 빛을 위협할 수 없는 나라를 만들기 위해서도 정의로운 통합은 필수"라며 "민주주의 등불을 밝혀주신 위대한 대한국민과 함께 빛의 혁명을 반드시 완수하겠다"고 했다.
