동구청은 매년 자체적으로 고객만족도 조사를 실시해 주민 의견을 수렴하고, 이를 실천방안에 적극 반영해왔다.
올해 역시 조사 결과를 토대로 ‘2025년 행정서비스헌장 운영계획’을 마련했으며, 민원서비스 기준도 개선했다. 빠르게 바뀌는 행정환경에 맞춰 이행기준을 새로 정하거나 손질한 점이 좋은 평가로 이어졌다.
헌장 담당자에 대한 교육과 홍보에도 힘썼다. 주민이 체감할 수 있는 행정 서비스를 제공하는 것이 중요하다는 판단 아래, 민원 처리 과정에서 발생하는 불편을 줄이기 위한 개선도 계속해왔다.
윤석준 동구청장은 “주민의 요구와 사회 변화에 먼저 다가가는 행정을 만들겠다”며 “맞춤형 행정서비스도 계속 확대해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다. 행정서비스헌장이 단순한 선언을 넘어서 실제로 지역민이 체감할 수 있는 변화로 이어질지 주목된다.
