2025년 11월 29일 밤, 한국 시와 전통 춤과 판소리와, K POP이 라오스의 전통 춤과 함께 어우러져 한국과 라오스 문화예술 교류 행사가 루앙프라방 야시장에서 성공적으로 개최됐다. 이번 행사는 두 나라의 예술가들이 한자리에 모여 전통 춤, 시 낭송, 노래, 그리고 K-POP까지 다양한 장르의 무대를 선보이며 깊이 있는 문화 소통의 장을 마련했다.
루앙프라방 야시장이 2017년 개장 이래 외국인이 공연 한 첫번째 사례이고 한국-라오스 재수교 30주년을 맞이하여 뜻 깊은 행사가 되었다.
행사는 1부와 2부로 나눠 진행됐으며, 1부에서는 글로벌 시낭송회 오충 회장의 인사말로 시작 되었고, 루앙프라방 웡다원 관광 문화부국장의 축사로 시작되었다. 특히 주)라오스 한국 정영수 대사는 함께 참석을 못 해 죄송하다면서 영상으로 축사를 보내 왔다.
루앙프라방시의 문화부에 시집과 김윤경 시인 (글로벌 시낭송회 회원)이 직접 그린 그림으로 제작한 2026년도 탁상 달력 및 한국 화장품을 증정했다. 시 낭송 공연을 위해 온라인으로 함께 수업하며 협연 공연 학생들에게 장학금 과 시집 및 한국에서 준비해온 선물 강민숙 시인이 전달하했다. 이번의 공연을 위해 견인차 역할을 해온 수파누봉 대학 한국어 학과 Somsanith 교수에게 공로패 전달식을 가졌다.

이어 2부 행사로는 진도 북춤(신필순)을 시작으로, 교방춤(장정숙) 사랑무 (강춘희, 나정숙) 그리고 라오스 전통 춤인 낭께오 춤과 파락파람 Phra Lak Phra Lam 과 K POP으로 무대를 돋보이게 했다.
또한 임영숙, 오충, 서미경, 정성균, 김미숙, 송용탁, 고범주, 강춘희, 김호영 등이 라오스 시인과 수파누봉 학생들과 함께 ‘방비엥(임영숙,시), ‘자연과 인간의 경계(오충,시)’, ‘마음의 간격(백애송,시)’,‘강물처럼 흐르는 그대여 (송인엽,시)’, 꽝시폭포에서(강민숙,시), 공동이념론자 (라싸시 씽나컨,시) 덕싼 무앙캄의 “고향 그리워” 등 시를 감미롭게 낭송하며 관객들에게 큰 감동을 선사했다.
또한 많은 관객이 외국인인 점을 고려해서 몇 개의 시는 영시로 번역 낭송하여 관객들의 공감대를 형성하였다. 최병욱의 열정적인 노래가 라오스 하늘에 펼쳐졌다.

시낭송 공연에 참여한 텝악썬 양은 “좋은 기회를 주신 것도 그렇고, 두 달 넘게 한국 시를 읽는 방법을 가르쳐 주셔서 너무 감사하다면서, 공연도 함께 하게 되어 정말 감동적이고 뜻 깊은 시간이었다고 말했다.
특히 이번 문화교류 행사에서는 젊은 K-POP 학생들의 음악 공연과 송용탁 시인이 새로운 낭송 방식으로 “첫사랑”은 노래와 맞추어 낭송 볼륨을 통한 현대적인 해석이 더해져 전통과 현대가 조화를 이루는 축제의 장을 완성했다. 시 낭송과 춤, 노래, 그리고 한국어와 라오스어가 함께 어우러진 이번 무대는 양국 간 교류와 상호이해를 높이는 중요한 계기가 됐다.
마지막으로 선보인 아리랑 춤 공연은 300여명의 관객들과 함께 덩실 덩싱 춤을 추면서 한국의 아름다운 문화를 알리는 축제의 장이 되었다.

This cultural exchange event featured a musical performance by young K-pop students, and poet Song Yong-tak's new recitation style, "First Love," which was accompanied by a song and a modern interpretation through the volume of the recitation, creating a festival that harmonized tradition and modernity. This performance, which combined poetry recitation, dance, song, and the Korean and Lao languages, served as a significant opportunity to enhance exchange and mutual understanding between the two countries.
The final performance, the Arirang Dance, featured an audience of approximately 300 people dancing the "Dengsil Dengsing" dance, creating a festive atmosphere that showcased the beauty of Korean culture.
