북구청은 연말을 맞아 행사장을 찾는 방문객들에게 북구의 관광 명소와 매력을 적극 홍보할 계획이다.
대구 크리스마스 페어는 공연과 체험, 선물용품, 홈데코 전시를 한 자리에서 즐길 수 있는 대표 겨울 행사다.
지난해에는 약 4만 명이 행사장을 찾았으며, 가족과 청년층을 겨냥한 참여형 프로그램으로 연말 분위기를 만끽할 수 있었다.
북구 관광홍보부스에서는 구암서원, 구암동 고분군, 떡볶이 페스티벌 등 지역 주요 관광지를 소개한다.
경제신화 도보길 투어와 칠곡 도호부옛길 투어 등 해설 프로그램도 운영하며, 관광명소 타로카드와 팔찌 등 관광두레 주민사업체가 만든 특색 있는 상품도 함께 선보인다.
또한 현장에서는 북구 SNS 채널을 구독하거나 팔로우하면 손수건, 우양산 등 홍보물을 받을 수 있는 룰렛 이벤트도 진행한다. 이를 통해 방문객들의 참여를 적극 유도할 예정이다.
배광식 북구청장은 “이번 크리스마스 페어를 통해 북구의 관광 매력과 여행 정보를 널리 알리고, 2026년 관광 수요 확대에도 도움이 되길 기대한다”고 밝혔다.
