문진석 더불어민주당 원내수석부대표와 인사 청탁 논란을 빚은 김남국 대통령실 디지털소통비서관 사직서가 4일 수리됐다.
대통령실 대변인실은 이날 오후 출입 취재진 공지를 통해 "김 비서관이 제출한 사직서를 수리했다"고 전했다.
앞서 지난 2일 문 원내수석부대표가 국회 본회의 도중 김 비서관에게 휴대전화 메신저로 같은 중앙대 출신 모 특정 인사를 한국자동차산업협회장에 추천해 달라 부탁하는 장면이 모 언론 카메라에 담겨 보도된 바 있다.
또 김 비서관이 문 원내수석부대표 요구에 "훈식이 형이랑 현지 누나한테 추천할게요"라고 답한 것 역시 카메라에 찍혔다. '훈식이 형'은 강훈식 대통령 비서실장, '현지 누나'는 김현지 제1부속실장이다.
현재 이들 4명은 이종배 서울시의원에 의해 이날 오전 '위력에 의한 업무방해 공범 혐의'로 서울경찰청에 고발 조치 당했다.
이 의원은 "대통령실이 민간 협회 인사까지 개입한 건 희대의 국정농단"이라며 "김 실장·강 비서실장이 협회장 선출에 압력을 행사했는지 밝혀 달라는 게 국민적 요구"라고 밝혔다.
