이재명 대통령이 4일 "물가안정이 곧 민생안정"이라며 "최근 체감 물가가 높아지며 민생에 적잖은 부담이 되고 있다"고 말했다.
이 대통령은 이날 오후 용산 대통령실에서 열린 제17차 수석보좌관회의 모두 발언에서 이같이 말한 후 "관계 부처들은 주요 민생 품목 수급 상황을 면밀히 점검하고, 물가 안정을 위한 정책 수단을 선제 동원해달라"고 주문했다.
그러면서 "지시한 바와 같이 부당 담합해 물가를 올린 사례는 없는지, 시장 독점력을 활용해 부당 이익을 취하는 사례는 없는지 철저히 점검해 달라"고 했다.
또 "어려운 대외 환경 속 수출이 국민 경제에 큰 희망이 되고 있다"며 "지난달 수출은 작년 동월 대비 8.4% 증가했고, 연간 수출 7천억 달러 돌파가 가시권에 들어왔다"고 전했다.
이어 "이는 보호무역주의의 파고에 굴하지 않고 제품 개발·시장 개척에 힘 모은 기업인·노동자·공직자들 노고 덕분"이라며 "글로벌 통상 환경 불확실성은 앞으로도 계속될 것이며 이럴 때일수록 국익 중심 실용적 통상 정책을 토대로 미래 첨단 산업을 육성해 나가야 한다"고 했다.
더불어 "'글로벌 사우스와의 협력을 통한 수출 시장 다변화·경제 영토 확장 노력이 중요하다"며 "수출 7천억불을 넘는 1조불 시대를 여는 기반 마련을 위해 견고한 민·관 협력 체계를 구축해달라"고 주문했다.
